Matthew 5:8 tells us, “ Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” Lord God, may we learn how to cultivate pure hearts that are clean and sold-out to Your Truths, as we learn Your Word and cherish them. However, God leads you to learn His word, pursue it with all your heart. Maybe you like to read them out loud…or express them with a new song, singing praises to the Lord! Maybe you like to pray the Truths of God’s Word Maybe you like to write out the scriptures in a journal.ĭo you like to write a special verse on a flashcard or sticky note and take them around the house or in your car? To me, this method of memorization is my go-to recommendation for busy people in this modern over-stimulated world. I can pick up and put down these Truths, between household tasks and demanding children. For this reason, I love finding new ways to learn and meditate on Bible verses. I love that God’s Word is practical and makes “right living” an obtainable goal. Then will I teach transgressors thy ways and sinners shall be converted unto thee. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation and uphold me with thy free spirit. Cast me not away from thy presence and take not thy holy spirit from me. God calls us to live a life of holiness and seek righteousness, but we all have fallen short from time to time.
